  1. FOCUS ON YOUR CURRENT STUDIES

It does not matter what your study discipline is, focus on your current studies and try to get the good grades. Every university in the world set their own criteria for admission. Good Universities and colleges demand excellent academic record. You always want to get admission in the good institution as it increases your chances of getting visa and have successful career in practical life. Good grades let you enroll in the prestigious institution. If you have excellent academic record you may also get free education by getting admission in tuition free countries where admission criteria are very tough or you can get scholarship. So never neglect your current studies and try to be one of top ranked students among your batch. If you are doing part time job then you always have option to improve your studies by taking admission to next level of education or improve the current level. Fortunately, there are lots of study options for students who are doing full time jobs in day.

  1. LEARN ENGLISH AND IF POSSIBLE SOME OTHER LANGUAGE

Without any doubt English is the international language and the main language for academic and research. Pakistani education system is also based on English language. In Pakistan students start learning English from School. Still many students don’t understand English very well or their level of English is not sufficient to let them enroll in top ranked university.
when it comes to Admission requirements IELTS/TOEFL are the main testing scores required by universities. In student visa file or student’s residence permit file IELTS/TOEFL score play the major role to grant you study visa. For some countries, even Embassy require IELTS/TOEFL score along with your educational and other supporting documents.

So, we advise you to learn English. Start with your academic books. Almost for every discipline in Pakistan, medium of instruction is English. If not some subjects are mandatory on all level like English Compulsory. Learn it with passion. Sharpen your all four modules, Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening.

If it is possible for you, PakStudyAbroad encourages you to lean another language.

  1. GET NECCASSARY EDCUATINOAL DOCUMENTS ATTESTATIONS

Almost all countries abroad required official attestation of your education documents when applying for admission. Start from IBCC (Inter Board Chairman Committee). Your secondary and higher secondary School leaving certificate will be attested from IBCC. IBCC cannot attest your graduation documents. HEC (Higher Education Commission) is responsible for your documents attestation at graduation and University level. HEC has the authority to attest your university degrees from Bachelors to onward. Also get your documents attested from ministry of foreign affairs (MOFA) as some countries require all the attestations. These attestations are the tickets with verification numbers which they paste back side of your educational certificates after necessary verification. A fee is charged by the relevant authority.
NOTE: for some countries, your admission or study visa can be refused if you don’t have mandatory documents attestation. There are some extra documents attestation for admissions or student visa for Pakistani students which we will cover on every country’s page on PakStudyAbroad.

  1. BE PREPARED FOR PART TIME JOBS ABROAD

Second priority of students abroad is to find part time job after studies. It is logical, mostly students can’t find scholarship or don’t have enough funds for whole period abroad. Part time job without language proficiency is not an easy task for some countries specially where English is not widely spoken. PakStudyAbroad advises you to well prepare advance for your stay abroad. You can start with driving, if you know driving (you must have driving license + international driving permit from Pakistan) there are more job options for you. i.e. if you know driving then you can have newspaper distribution job or some other home delivery job stuff. With driving skills, you can cover the large area for your job and earn more money. Some jobs are physically challenging, also weather is extreme in some countries so well prepare physically and mentally for that.

  1. LEARN COOKING

Yes, you read right, learn cooking.

Probably after family and friends you will miss the Desi food a lot. Also, dining out is not a right option for Pakistani students abroad. Dining out is ten times more expensive than eating home during your stay abroad. Mostly students cannot develop the taste for local food. Cooking is also fun and very easy but unfortunately it considered to be women job in Pakistan.

Must learn cooking from Pakistan it will also help you share your accommodation with other fellow students which leads you to make new friends abroad and more savings.
Learn to cook few dishes, PakStudyAbroad promise you will never regret.😊

  1. SAVING, SAVING, SAVING

Funds are the most necessary part of your study abroad dream. If you want to study abroad you need enough funds. How much you need is totally depend on circumstances, in which country you want to go or what do you want to study on which level. You get scholarship or not or even you get scholarship you still need money to see around during your stay abroad.  Save money for your stay abroad. Money is the confidence which you will have far from your family.

If you are currently a student do part time job in Pakistan such as giving tuitions to your junior study level and/or work freelance on internet. You want to save as much money as possible.

  1. STAY UPDATED

Always keep in touch with updated information. You don’t want to miss the scholarships opportunity or you don’t want to miss the deadline for applying.
