NETHERLANDS VISA REQUIREMENTS

Dutch embassy can take more than three months to process you documents. Students are suggested to apply for student visa immediate after getting admission confirmation letter from any Dutch university to avoid any dely. Pakistani / non-EU students are required to apply for residence permit within days of their arrival in Netherlands. Normally residence permit is issued for one year and students’ have to extend it. Students are required to apply for extension of residence permit before its expiry. Students must pass 50% of their courses for extension of their residence permit. COST OF LIVING IN NETHERLANDS

Netherlands is not very expensive country like some other European countries. Pakistani/international students require approx. 800 Euros to 1100 Euros per month for living expenses. However, a being student in Netherlands is granted you many discounts in daily life. You are eligible to have discounts in Transport, some restaurants, bars, cafes, museum and cinemas. There is a simple formula to divide your cost of living abroad. You should have one third for your accommodation, one third for your food and other daily expenses and one third for leisure, transport and entertainment.
