BACHELOR’S (LICENCIADO) DEGREE PROGRAM IN PORTUGAL

MASTER’S (MASTRE) DEGREE PROGRAM IN PORTUGAL
Universities of Portugal and Polytechnic Institutes of Portugal offered master’s degree programs in various study fields. A master’s degree programs normally consists of three to four semesters with 90 to 120 credits. Students are required excellent performance both in academic and practical studies in their particular fields.
In polytechnic education master’s degree students needs to get professional specialization in their study field. And university’s master’s degree students need research and innovative study. Master’s degree is awarded to those students who have completed all the required research work and complete their project work also.
DOCTORAL (DOUTOR) DEGREE PROGRAM IN PORTUGAL
Students who completed their master’s degree successfully are eligible to take admission in doctoral degree programs. Higher education institutes of Portugal offer PhD program in many study fields. The doctoral degree candidates are required complete research and an impressive thesis which should be published in national newspaper and can be defended on all public forums. Doctoral degree is only awarded by universities of Portugal, polytechnic institutes of Portugal are not authorized to issue degree of PhD.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR PAKISTANI STUDENTS IN PORTUGAL
International / Pakistani students who wish to take admission in bachelor’s degree program in higher education institutions of Portugal are required secondary school leaving certificate with good grades, the grades should be equivalent to Portuguese secondary education.
For some study programs students are required to sit in entrance exams which can be held in your home country. Language proficiency certificate is also required for international students. RENT AN APARTMENT / FLAT IN PORTUGAL
If you like privacy and do not habitual to live with other people, then you can rent your private flat or apartment. This way of living is expensive.
