Pakistani /non-EU students are required to pay application fee and tuition fee to take admission in higher education institution of Sweden. Online application fee is charged SEK 900 from all students.

Students flat consist of 2 to 4 bedrooms with common kitchen, living room and bathroom. Single room flats are also available for students. These rooms in residence hall are fully furnished. Students have to buy own blankets, pillows, sheets, towels, light bulbs, crockery etc. You can get these things from student union if they provide this facility.

PRIVATE ACCOMMODATION IN SWEDEN

The international students who cannot find place in student accommodation in Sweden or don’t want to live in student accommodation for any reason can arrange their private accommodation.  Mostly in Sweden rental flats or apartments are managed by central housing service. Which helps tenant and land lord to find each others and provide first hand rental contracts facilities? Some times tenant and landlord do rental contracts directly.

Finding a private accommodation in big cities like Stockholm, Gothenburg or Malmo is difficult. And these cities are expensive too. You will have to pay more rent to live in these big cities as compare to other cities of Sweden.  Mostly students rent a flat or apartment in sharing. It is economical way of living. This type of rental contract is called second-hand contract.

Student can take help to search private accommodation from housing office of university or students unions.  The rent of residence is fixed according to its location, size and facilities. Mostly heating and water include in rent but you have to pay all other utility bills.

PART TIME JOBS IN SWEDEN FOR PAKISTANI STUDENTS

Students are allowed to work during studies in Sweden. Students can work part time job as per their financial needs and requirements. There is no working hour limitation for students in Sweden like other European countries. But it is necessary for students to complete 40 study hours first. It is also necessary for students to give priority to their study and maintain their grades. Because their basic purpose in Sweden is studies not work. Keep one thing in mind that finding a part time job in Sweden without knowing Swedish language is not easy. Because students are offered part time jobs at the places where public dealing is part of job, like restaurants, cafes, hotels, food spots, service stations, gas stations, bars, shopping malls, call centers, shops, markets, newspaper distribution, some babysitting jobs etc. These are kind of student jobs and difficult to deal with customers if you don’t know local language. If you are lucky enough to find job related to your studies then it would be more beneficial for you.
